Learn more about the Performers:
Marilyn Galfin
Hasn’t been seen anywhere for a long time except there was once incidence where she was spotted at the local whole food stores searching for gluten free pasta. Her wacky prop humor was featured on “America’s Funniest People”. She had performed at Virginia’s women music festival, local clubs around the city and won a contest, a quarter of a century ago over Jim Gaffigan before he became famous. (Does that count as any kind of impressive credit?)
Vicki Ferentinos
New York Times- “Ferentinos is Effervescent and Captivating”,30 Rock, Edinburgh Fringe, WOR radio, Comix, Carolines, Gotham, Broadway Comedy Club, New World Stages, etc
Andrea Alton
Molly Equality Dykeman aka Andrea Alton. In New York Molly has performed at Comix, The PIT, Dixon Place, UCB, The Knitting Factory and Arlene’s Grocery. She brought down the house at last years The Miss Fag Hag Pageant at Comix (a benefit for The Harvey Milk School) and Murray’s Hill Miss Lez Pageant. She’s also performed at the Chicago, Toronto, DC & San Francisco Sketch Comedy Festivals. www.mollyequalitydykeman.com
Emma Willman
Women in Comedy Festival, 2011, Finalist in New Englands Funniest Comic at Mohegan Sun, 2011.Boston Comedy Riot, 2010 first place winner.Featured on Comical Radio, and am a regular at Stand-Up NY and the Village Lantern, have also performed at Comix, Gotham, and The New York Comedy Club. I co-produce a popular monthly show in Gremercy Park called, “The Gun Show” with my friend and comic, Gibran Saleem.
Tammy Peay
Performed at churches and clubs all over NYC. She’s done colleges all over the country and is currently the host for the ultimate Halloween Carribean Cruise, sponsored by Zenbiz Travel.
Lisa Kaplan
A crowd favorite known for her dry wit and sharp comic observations Lisa has performed at clubs and colleges throughout the country including The Boston Comedy Connection, Atlantic City House of Blues and Gotham Comedy Club. Recently seen on Here TV’s Hot Gay Comics some of her other credits include: runner up in the Ladies of Laughter competition, medalist in the Comedy Olympics at Caroline’s, member of the Lesbians of Laughter tour and named in Curve Magazine as one of the countries Funniest Lesbian Comedians. Described by one observer as “hilariously despondent” her droll deadpan delivery disguises a quick and energetic cleverness. Armed with sharp writing and a unique like- ability, Lisa lures audience members into her world and her unique spin on it.
Montalfish
Colleen Max-Fisher and Christian Montalbano (aka Montalfish) have been infusing the New York music scene since 2006 with an eclectic style that’s been labeled everything from electro-soul to disco-rock. Their trademark dance-floor beats and evocative melodies have netted a broad following ever appreciative of Colleens astonishing vocal range and complex timbres, the core of the Montalfish sound. Always the consummate performer, Colleen can energize a room with a strutting rocker growl or maneuver an audiences emotions with delicate crystalline phrasing and often does both in the same track. Beneath her vocal glory, guitarist, keyboardist and producer Christian Montalbano lays down a heavily textured bed of sound referencing a gamut of disco, house, pop, rock and soul. Christian fearlessly vacillates between musical foil and friend, as likely to add rhythmic grit to Colleens most ethereal efforts as he is to bring on lush orchestrations to support her more seductive swaggers. The result is as fresh as it is mature, as warm-blooded as it is cool.
